Karen Captline started her career as a child - drawing on the backs of her Dad’s old accounting reports. After high school, she went on to attend the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and her parents only asked that she not dye her hair any crazy colors. She went on to get her bachelor’s degree at Point Park University. She met her future husband in a Psychology Class as she was trying to understand her parents’ hair issues.
After an internship at Station Square Entertainment Complex in downtown Pittsburgh, she worked as the Graphic designer at the Gateway Clipper Fleet riverboat company for the next seven years. Next, she worked at Dick’s Sporting Goods’ corporate office, where she advanced through various roles for the next 12 years.
Having gained enormous amounts of skill and experience, Karen decided to leave the corporate world and use all that knowledge to provide businesses of all sizes with design excellence and as much fun as possible!
